Telephone Equipment Distribution Program
The Telephone Equipment Distribution (TED) Program is a statewide service that provides special amplified phones (corded and cordless), telephone ring signalers, captioned telephones, hands-free speakerphones, TTY’s, voice amplified phones, deaf blind equipment and other special telephone accessories to Minnesota residents of all ages at no charge. This service is sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and focuses on those people who may have hearing loss, speech problems or other physical disabilities which may restrict their ability to use a standard telephone.
Please visit the TED website at www.tedprogram.org to learn how people can qualify for a no cost telephone.
